If I never touched your heart,
it would be wrong to touch your body;
for I would never possess that right
that only true love can embody.
When I take you gently into my arms,
it is a melding of bodies and souls,
of two persons so deeply in love,
that we sway to our own drum-roll.
As we make sweet love all through the night
beneath the vast firmament up above,
we once again renew our vows
of perpetual, beautiful love.
As we lie in spent exhaustion,
and I hold you close and tight,
I gently kiss your sweet lips,
and we know our love is right.
